Illness: Students that have been sick within the last 24 hours (fever or vomiting) should notify the Worship Arts Academy in order to cancel or reschedule their lesson or notify for missing a class.
Practice: Each student is expected to practice a minimum of five days per week. They will be able to log their practice times on My Music Staff. You will maximize the benefits of your lessons the more you practice.
Dress Code: There is not a formal dress code or uniform for the Worship Arts Academy. We do ask that each student dress modestly as we seek to honor Jesus and each other. The instructor determines inappropriate dress. Appeals can be made to the Worship Arts Academy Director.
Responsibilities: Please strive to be on time to each lesson or class, attentive in instruction, and respectful in interaction.
Discipline: We want to honor each other as we study in community. If a student under the age of 18 displays behavior that is disrespectful and/or sinful, the instructor is to address the student concerning the behavior and speak with the parent/guardian that same day.
Make-ups and Cancellations: Please give the instructor 24-hour notice when cancelling. Without a 24-hour notice or emergency, student forfeits lesson costs. Makeup lessons are at the discretion of the instructor. If you begin to have a fever, diarrhea, or vomiting this constitutes as an emergency within the 24-hour period.
