When can I take lessons? Private lessons are offered and consist of standard 30-minute weekly lessons each semester. However, we want to be flexible and do what’s best for each student! 45 minute and 1-hour lessons are available when the instructor and student deem it appropriate. We can also work out details such as biweekly lessons. Lessons are offered at various times depending on the instructor’s availability.

Where do lessons and classes take place? All lessons are offered on the campus of Bethel Baptist Church.

Who can register here? Students as young as 7 can register or with instructor approval. Little Mozart’s welcomes 3- and 4-year-olds!

Are there any extra fees that I should know about? At the beginning of each semester, students are billed a one-time $75 registration fee. This is so important because it helps us pay our staff that work behind the scenes to make the Academy run smoothly and cover some other Academy expenses (for example, the software we use, etc…). As a result, the instructors can take home almost all of their profit from lessons.

Is there a cancelation policy? Yes, we require a 24-hour cancelation notice unless the cancelation is due to sickness or a family emergency. The lesson is billable if a 24-hour notice is not given.

I have a different question – who should I contact? For registration, financial, or scheduling questions please contact Alanna McCue-Gomes (amccuegomes@bbcyorktown.org).
