When can I take lessons? Private lessons are offered and consist of standard 30 minute weekly lessons each semester. However, we want to be flexible and do what’s best for each student! 45 minute and 1 hour lessons are available when the instructor and student deem it appropriate. We can also work out details such as biweekly lessons. Lessons are offered at various times depending on the instructor’s availability.

When can I take group classes? Group classes are only offered in select subjects. Each class is offered at a different time based on the instructor’s availability.

Where do lessons and classes take place? All lessons are offered on the campus of Bethel Baptist Church.

Who can register here? Students must be 7 years old by September 30th to register for the Fall Semester. To make our vision of a multi-generational Academy a reality, we do not have a maximum age for the Academy. We know that anyone, no matter how old, can learn something new or skillfully grow in their gifting!

Are there any extra fees that I should know about? At the beginning of each semester, students are billed a one-time $75 registration fee. This is so important because it helps us pay our staff that work behind the scenes to make the Academy run smoothly and cover some other Academy expenses (for example, the software we use, etc…). As a result, the instructors can take home almost all of their profit from lessons. The Art of Drawing will also have a varying, yet reasonable, fee for supplies each week.
