The 2018-19 school term is Mrs. Amanda’s first year at BBWP, but her seventh in the early childhood field. Mrs. Amanda earned both her Bachelors degree in Psychology and Masters degree in Child Psychology at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Mrs. Amanda has also obtained extensive training hours in regards to early childhood trends, curriculum, and best practices. She has worn several hats in Prekindergarten ranging from Training and Curriculum Specialist focusing on emergent curriculum and STEAM to Assistant Director in NAEYC accredited and Reggio Emilia inspired centers.
Mrs. Amanda and her family – John, Emma, and Patrick, recently “PCS’d” from Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base in southern California.She, however, is a proud native of southern West Virginia and daughter of Marshall University- Go Herd!
Mrs. Amanda feels blessed to teach in a Christ-centered environment among women who love to serve the Lord by extending His Word and love outward into the community and beyond!
