BBC is partnering with “Church Planting Argentina” in fulfilling their goal to assist local churches in making disciples and planting churches in unreached neighborhoods in Central and South America. BBC partners with Church Planting Argentina through evangelical mission trips as well as financial support and prayer.
In April 2023, Bethel sent a team to Argentina for the 12th time since 2010. Pastor Brian, Wendy and Aidan Parker joined Ken and Donna Hertzler, Donna Aliff, Debbie Robinson, Jane Bates, Joanne Pike, Mark and Lauren Vance, and Jeff White for a week of ministry in churches around the capital district.
These churches are part of a ministry called Church Planting Argentina. There are about 17 churches in this ministry and each church is committed to start new churches in neighborhoods near theirs. Our purpose is to assist them in reaching their neighbors with the gospel and starting Bible study groups which will grow into churches. We also helped with some building maintenance and renovation at the churches. We went to one neighborhood where the church had closed because of COVID restrictions. We visited in homes to let people know that the church was opening again. We invited them to a worship service that night which was well-attended. It was a sweet time of worship together, especially for the people who had been a part of the church when it closed.
Bethel is planning to do our 13th trip in late September 2024.
